Secret Santa ideas for City workers

We are heading into Christmas season and that means presents! If you have friends or colleagues who work in the City of London and are drawing a blank when it comes to presents – secret Santa or otherwise  – there here is an idea. As you may know, the Lost London Churches project has put collectable little church cards in 14 of the remaining churches in the City. Here is the list :

All Hallows by the Tower, St Mary Abchurch, St Vedast Foster Lane, St Bartholomew the Great, St Botolph Bishopsgate, St Botolph Aldgate, St Margaret Pattens, St Mary Aldermary, St Olave Hart Street, St Mary Woolnoth, St Margaret Lothbury, St Magnus the Martyr, St Stephen Walbrook, St Katharine Kree.

Here they are marked on a map – look closely  – there is probably one of them just around the corner from where you work.

This is the secret Santa idea – go into one of these churches and – after glorying in the beautiful architecture – pick up a few of the collectible church cards. Make a suitable voluntary donation to the church – £1 maybe. Then get a cheap standard sized frame and stick some of them in.  It will look like this :
